Parent Support

We welcome parents to support us in school as often as possible and hold regular workshops to help parents and carers to support their children with aspects of the curriculum such as reading, maths and phonics. We believe that parents are key partners in children's education and so work hard to ensure that strong relationships are formed. Staff in school will always ensure that they are able to meet with parents at a mutually convenient time and offer support and advice where necessary.

Andrea McCann is our Learning Mentor and Parent Support Worker. She works with both children and parents when they are experiencing difficulty; socially and emotionally. Parents can contact Andrea McCann either by telephone directly to the school or by speaking to her in person on the school playground in the mornings. We strongly believe that early action is beneficial for all and we can help parents and children get the right support and advice quickly.

Please contact the school if you have any concerns about your child at school or at home.
