During the first term of this school year, all children from class 1 to class 6 could choose to put their names forward to be elected to represent their class as a School Councillor.
The elected School Council are very important in our school. We are the voice of each class and we are able to help to make important decisions for our school to ensure it is a happy place for everyone. We regularly meet to discuss issues and put forward our ideas. We then report back any decisions we make to our class.
So far, we have helped our new Junior Road Safety Officers choose names for our Parking Buddies.
We have also helped to organise the annual fundraising event - Children in Need. Our school had a great afternoon selling cakes and buns, we ran competitions, held a bring and buy sale and many more activities took place.
We raised a fantastic £344. Well done and a big thank you to everyone.
Look out for our upcoming projects...
Junior Road Safety Officers
Welcome to our new Junior Road Safety Officers. We are a group of 8 children from Class 5 and we are here to help to keep everyone in our school and community safe. You will sometimes see us outside school just before the end of the school day with our new Parking Buddies. The School Council helped us to name them.

The Parking Buddies will be placed outside to help everyone be more aware of safe parking around school. As Junior Road Safety Officers, we may also hand out leaflets or carryout surveys. Look out for us and please come and talk to us.
